Nasi Goreng Fried Rice with Prawns
Get ready to cook
1. Cook rice as per packet instructions; chill in refrigerator overnight.
2. In a pan, heat up some cooking oil to a medium high heat. Add carrots, green beans and spring onion; stir fry for 2-3mins. Add prawns; stir fry for 1-2mins or until cooked.
3. Add rice and Nasi Goreng Paste; mix well and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until piping hot.
4. Serve with fried egg on top, prawn crackers and lime wedge.
400g Nasi Goreng Paste
600g uncooked basmati white rice (approx. 1.8kg cooked rice; cook then chill in refrigerator)
600g peeled prawns or shredded chicken
150g shredded carrot
150g diced green beans
10 spring onions, finely sliced
10 fried eggs
10 lime wedges to garnish
Optional: prawn crackers
