Mughlai Butter Paste is inspired by our eating experiences at the old school Mughlai eateries whilst backpacking around Old Delhi. The cooking of the Mughlai emperors is very much alive in the rich dishes served by restaurants like Karim’s, a family run eatery with over 100 years of history.
Keeping true to the Indo-Persian roots of Mughlai cuisine, our Mughlai Butter Paste is hand-cooked with the aromatics of cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg, enriched with butter and has a mild heat. Backpackers eating like royalty!
Make a CURRY by adding coconut milk, cream and chicken/lamb.
STIR FRY with chicken/beef, chickpeas & a dollop of cream.
Mix with Greek yoghurt to MARINATE chicken; grill.
